We are led by Andy Keeling, a highly experienced and dedicated Operations Director with over 40 years in the construction sector, including 30 years specializing in oak frame buildings. Andy is an award winning architectural designer with a proven track record of successfully overseeing complex projects from conception to completion, optimizing operational efficiency and leading skilled teams. Passionate about sustainable construction and committed to delivering high-quality, bespoke oak structures. Seeking to leverage extensive industry knowledge and leadership capabilities to drive growth and excellence at Albion Oak. Andy has spearheaded operational strategy and execution for a number of timber frame manufacturers, managing projects valued up to £2 million. He has overseen all stages of the project lifecycle, from design coordination and material procurement to fabrication, site erection and final handover in the oak frame sector, housing and commercial projects. Andy has cultivated strong relationships with clients, architects, structural engineers and suppliers, ensuring seamless project flow and client satisfaction. With an initial background in architecture working for Wolverhampton’s premier architects practice before moving on to work on what was at the time Europe’s largest out of town retail shopping centre, he moved into the oak framing sector as a consultant with the UK’s leading oak frame company before setting up his own oak frame company Albion Oak Ltd. Andy’s key skills include: • Timber Framing: Oak Frame Construction, Mortise & Tenon Joinery, Traditional & Modern Techniques, Timber Species Knowledge (Oak, Douglas Fir, Larch) • Project Management: Full Project Lifecycle Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, Resource Allocation, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management • Operational Management: Lean Principles, Process Optimization, Quality Assurance/Control, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning • Leadership & Team Management: Team Building, Mentoring, Performance Management, Health & Safety Compliance • Technical: CAD Software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, specific timber framing software), Reading Technical Drawings, Site Management, Structural Understanding • Business: Client Relations, Supplier Negotiation, Business Development, Strategic Planning Andy lists skiing, sailing, web site design and photography as his main hobbies but is also a keen sportsman playing football, cricket and golf. He is also a qualified lifesaver, yachtmaster, scuba diver and RYA Instructor. Andy is also a trustee of Ruiton Windmill.
